Welcome to πŸš€ Progress. My weekly update where I share my stories and behind-the-scene insights into my journey playing the Internet game and seeking to provide value for this world as an entrepreneur/creator. Every week I will transparently show my progress from the beginning on.

Who is this for?

For people who want to play the internet game and learn from my story.
You think I’m a dreamer? That I shouldn’t even try and give up?
Remember: Quitters never win. Winners never quit. Play the long game.

Topics of the week:

❌ Logo Development + name mistake
🍞 +🧈 Brand essentials
🧱 What I would like to build

🧑 Logo Development

Last week I thought I had finished developing my logo. This week I didn’t like it so much, so I had to work on it some more and played around with the structure of the letters. This is what I came up with. I really think it’s another significant improvement.

However, by the end of the week I realized that I had made a mistake in choosing the name. The abbreviation LVTP is a model name of a United States Marine Corps troop carrier. I’m not sure how well known this vehicle is, but in the end it’s something I definitely don’t want to be associated with, so I’ll have to give it some more thought in terms of naming.

Here are a few ideas that I like at the moment:

PRSVERE! / Cnsistncy / Aspyrize / Mission Rize

🍞 +🧈 Brand essentials

This week I started building a website for the brand. I started with the “About us” page. It should convey what we do, what we stand for, what our aspirations are and what we promise. Here is a first draft:

I also came across the topic of brand archetypes. This topic opened my eyes to what and for whom the brand should be.

I made a list of brand essentials I figured out this week which might be helpful to be answered:

Fix desires relevant for survival: Which desire does the brand satisfy?

Brand name / logo

Where do I want to take the customer?

Pain points

Brand substance: purpose / vision / mission / values

The anti-vision

Positioning

Target group

Competitors

User stories / storytelling

What do they love?

What do they hate?

Understandable message

Separation from the rest

Uniformity of appearance

The brand’s Voice

Attention: What gets their attention?

Fight against the villain: What stops people from doing …

🧱 What I would like to build

This is probably a good summary of what I would admire to do. Writing texts that endure and provide valuable input. I admire writers like Paul Graham, Tomas Pueyo or Steph Smith, whose articles are just so valuable and great.
