| Recent accomplishments in the last weeks

It’s now been about 2 months since I stopped posting here. This does not mean that I have not continued. However, I have not prioritized this blog.

This is supposed to be a new beginning.

Here’s what I accomplished in the last weeks:

  • Set up Beacons AI – See here.
  • Created a new 5k Sub16:30 training plan, available for free download here.
  • Established an email funnel with ConvertKit
  • Worked on the Sub 3 email course
  • Tried editing reels in the Instagram app and also tried voice overlay (Speaking into a microphone is much harder than I thought especially in a not mother language)
  • Got to 180 TikTok Followers (Instagram only 8) – Have to do more exciting reels

🏃‍♂️| What happens next?

I am in the process of redesigning my online assets.
I have noticed the following things over the last few weeks:

  • A brand should not primarily be about a person. This means that I ask myself whether it makes sense to use the UNITED IN PACE accounts with personal content such as training progress. At the very least, the content should not play the main role.
  • Will be change my Twitter profile back to my personal account. Twitter should be more a personal space for my own name and sharing my own perspective with creators.
  • Jan Drees (Twitter profile, simple website with about me, blog and contact page, talking about building a brand, weekly Progress newsletter)
  • UNITED IN PACE (Brand about ambitious runners, TikTok, Instagram, Behind the Brand Series, included content from my personal running progress)

Next ToDo’s:

  • Working on Branding Guidelines for UNITED IN PACE
  • Working on standard social media templates and content format
  • Finding ways to automate content creation. Automatic Strava to Instagram Upload (automation for posts on project 5K Sub16:30)
  • Create viral content specific for the audience (for the audience what was defined in the branding guideline)

👣 | Building a branding guide

During the last project I started I gathered a lot of information on branding. The goal now will be to use this information and build not only a branding guide for UNITED IN PACE but also to turn it in an information asset for other creators. I really love working on this.
